How to reach

There are several ways to reach our location:

Metro:
The nearest station is Ciudad Universitaria on Line 6 (grey). From there, it is approximately a 20-minute walk.

Metro + city bus:

• Metro Line 6 (grey), Ciudad Universitaria station + EMT Bus U to stop 3862, UNED – Juan del Rosal.
• EMT Buses 83, 133, or 162, which run along the A-6 highway, to the Facultad de Veterinaria stop (1338). Get off here and, without crossing the bridge, walk about 50 meters forward until you find the stairs at the base of the hill that will take you up to the UNED buildings.
• Metro Line 3 (yellow), Moncloa station + Bus G to stop Paraninfo – Informática (5370). UNED is a 10-minute walk from there.

EMT city buses:

1. Line 133 departs from the city center (Gran Vía – San Bernardo), passing through Plaza de España, Princesa Street, Plaza de la Moncloa, and continues along the A-6 highway to the Facultad de Veterinaria stop. Get off here and, without crossing the bridge, walk about 50 meters until you reach the stairs at the base of the hill leading up to the UNED buildings.
2. Line F departs from Glorieta de Cuatro Caminos. Get off at the Paraninfo – Informática stop (5370). UNED is a 10-minute walk from there.

Intercity buses:

From the Moncloa transport hub, intercity buses 601, 621, 622, 623, 624, 625, 627, 628, 629, 651, 651A, 652, 653, 654, and 655 run along the A-6 highway to the Facultad de Veterinaria stop (8-1338). From there, take the stairs mentioned above to reach UNED.

Transport

A taxi ride to any of the recommended hotels (see below) takes approximately 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions (outside of peak hours). There is a fix taxi price of 30 euros from the Madrid Airport to Madrid Centre.

The metro line takes you from the Madrid Airport to the City Center. The hotels are also on regular bus and metro routes.

Opposite Moncloa transport hub. Panoramic terrace, seasonal pool, gym, sauna, meeting rooms. Approx. €80–130 per night.

Motel One Madrid – Plaza de España (3★)
Central location near Plaza de España metro station. Modern rooms, 24-hour reception. Approx. €80–110 per night.

Hostal Los Andes
Gaztambide 11 (Chamberí), close to Moncloa and Argüelles stations. 24-hour check-in, WiFi, heating, luggage storage. Approx. €50–80 per night.

Leonardo Hotel Madrid City Center (3★)
Near San Bernardo metro station (two stops to Ciudad Universitaria). Modern rooms, buffet breakfast, terrace, business facilities. Approx. €80–110 per night.

Nido Príncipe Pío (Hotel/Apartments)
Opposite Príncipe Pío shopping center, near Madrid Río and the Royal Palace. Coworking spaces, rooftop terrace, breakfast service. Approx. €80–120 per night.

Sercotel Gran Hotel Conde Duque (4★)
Chamberí district. Hydromassage rooms, restaurant, meeting facilities, pet-friendly. Approx. €90–140 per night.
